Drivers Side Foot Box - Rear Lower Corner
Since the 1″ x 1″ square tube will probably be visible, I cleaned it up using a grinder with a flapper disc and orbital sander. I had to do this a couple of times after filling in nick and low spots with some welds.
I cut and then repositioned the rear lower corner of the drivers side foot box. I drilled and secured it with clecos to the aluminum panel. I then welded it in place. This was done to give a straighter edge to the aluminum panel. The aluminum panel is now secured with the exception of the lower edge.
